What you need
- A valid Alberta Class 4 (or higher) driver's licence, and a driver record abstract acceptable to the City of Calgary, renewed every year
- A City of Calgary livery driver's licence, renewed every year, and the City's Livery Driver Training Program
- A police information check acceptable to the City of Calgary, renewed every year
- Your own limousine, luxury SUV, car or van, no more than 5 model years old, black or dark, with a City of Calgary livery vehicle licence and plate and the bylaw's mechanical inspections
- Commercial auto insurance for livery use, with collision and comprehensive cover on the vehicle
- A WCB-Alberta clearance letter (or WCB's written confirmation that you do not need coverage)
- For Calgary International Airport pickups: any airport ground transportation permit required
- Your GST number if you are registered, and a smartphone for ride details, pre-ride checks and photos

Do I need my own vehicle?
Yes. This is for owner operators driving their own limousine, luxury SUV, car or van, no more than 5 model years old, with a City of Calgary livery licence and plate.
How much do I earn?
A share of the fare on every completed ride. We agree your share with you when your account is approved, and every ride and what you earned is listed on your earnings page.
How long does approval take?
Usually within two business days once your documents are in. Your account is created straight away so you can upload them.
Can I choose when I drive?
Yes. The office assigns rides and you accept your schedule.
